PAYMENT
We accept checks and PayPal. Rhode Island residents must pay 7% sales tax unless they can provide a copy of a sales tax exemption certificate. International customers outside the U.S. must make payment via PayPal.

SHIPPING
Shipping and insurance will be included in your invoice. We offer prompt shipping via USPS Priority Mail.

OUR UNCONDITIONAL GUARANTEE
It's not easy to accurately capture a daguerreotype using a camera or scanner. A daguerreotype image "in hand" can have many different looks depending on light source and viewing angle. We do our best to be accurate. 
 
If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason within 3 days after receipt of the item, just ship it back to us in the same condition as received for a full refund. We do ask that you contact us before returning any items.

Additional Information

We have been in business since 1988, buying and selling antiques, folk art, early photography, and ephemera. Since 2018, our interests shifted to mostly daguerreotypes and other early photography. Since January 2019, we've sold more than 2,000 vintage photographs on eBay under the username richstars, on our richardsdags.com website, and at shows.
